07/14 Blue Jays Workout Day a Success

Local resident and Blue Jay minor league scout John Milton brought several Blue Jay instructors to Bolton's North Hill Park on Sunday June 27. About 50 kids ages 7-14 received instruction on fielding, batting, pitching and warming up. The event was a success with the weather near perfect. Now you kids take that knowledge to your games and go get'em!

05/29 Opening Day For House League a Great Success

You could not have asked for better weather for house league opening day on May 29. The North Hill Park was jammed with players, parents, family and friends to kick off the 2004 house league season. Rikki Rumball lead off the morning with a beautiful rendition of O Canada. That was followed up by Caledon Mayor Marolyn Morrison throwing out the first pitch. Then it was time to get underway with the baseball season. As T-ball, Atom, Rookie, Mosquito and Peewee divisions all played their first games, Rikki Rumball had a great music line up belting out songs throughout the day. Rikki brought a wide range of talented musicians that included styles ranging from modern and classic rock, jazz, rhythum and blues and many more. All players also participated in a hit-run-throw competition. It was a great day and Bolton Baseball would like to thank Rikki Rumball, Mayor Morrison and everyone who participated. Special thanks to Tavis Bruce, Dale Reid and Andy Moszynski for helping the Executive out. Kudos to Barb Hodgeson, Tracy Reid for manning the snackbar and VP of house league Kevin Bruce for organizing the day.
